J’aborde sérieusement la photo au détour des années 2010. Reprenant alors du service comme acteur, je m’emploie à peaufiner mon travail devant la caméra à travers moult ateliers et participations à des productions indépendantes. Cela éveille en moi un vieux rêve enfoui : faire mon propre cinéma. Je passe ainsi de l’autre côté, comme cinéaste, mais aussi comme photographe de plateau.
Il s’agit là d’une position privilégiée où j’ai la permission d’observer le monde tout à ma guise. C’est ainsi que je me rends compte à quel point cela me rend heureux de soutirer du moindre geste, de la moindre lumière, un état de grâce que moi seul ai pu remarquer, spectateur ravi au cœur du cyclone.

I seriously approached photography as an art at the turn of the year 2010. I was then taking a new start to my acting career. While refining my work in front of the camera through workshops and participation in independent productions, I was awakened by an old hidden dream: to make my own cinema. So I passed on the other side, as a filmmaker, but also as a photographer.
Through those privileged position, I can observe the world as I please. This is how I realized how happy it makes me feel to extract from the slightest gesture, the slightest light, a state of grace that only I have been able to notice, as a delighted spectator in the heart of the cyclone.
